Philosophy literally means the ‘love of wisdom’. It encompasses the search for knowledge and wisdom about many important areas of life, including who we are, what we value and why, how we should act, and the grounds for our beliefs.
It is both an ancient tradition of thought, and a cutting-edge, contemporary discipline. Studying philosophy – and developing a philosophical mindset – will provide you with an invaluable set of skills that will complement any career path you choose.
