COVID-19 safety information
Your safety and wellbeing are our biggest priority. We are working hard behind the scenes to ensure our events comply with all relevant COVID-19 safety requirements.
Please keep your guests to a minimum
While we love to see whole families enjoying our Open Days, in order to help us comply with venue capacity limits we ask you to carefully consider who you bring with you, and if possible to attend with only one other family member. This will help us to ensure we can assist as many prospective students as possible while keeping within COVID-19 safe limits. Please help us by adhering to the room capacities of each venue, and directions of our staff to ensure your personal safety.
Please sign in and wear a mask if required
It is a requirement of entry to our events that you sign in using the QR code for the venue. You can find these at the Start Here tents on campus. If you cannot locate this, please ask a staff member for assistance. By attending this event, you also agree to bring a mask to the event and wear a mask if required by the state government health guidelines in place at the time of the event.
When you should not attend in-person
We ask that you do not attend our physical events and instead join us online if:
- you are feeling unwell or displaying COVID-like symptoms
- you have been in close contact with a person who is diagnosed coronavirus (COVID-19) positive
- you are positive for coronavirus (COVID-19)
- you are required to be in self quarantine
- you have been to a COVID-19 hotspot or exposure site in the previous 14 days
- you have travelled overseas in the previous 14 days.
As event organisers, we have the right to refuse entry and may insist that anyone with coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms needs to leave the event and obtain coronavirus (COVID-19) testing as per state health guidelines.
Please register to attend Open Day and plan your day
We ask you to please register for your intended sessions after 14 July using Plan My Day on this site. While you are welcome to join us on the day, if you have not pre-registered for a session you may be unable to participate due to capacity limits.
Resources to check out before attending
We encourage you to watch the study area videos on the various study area pages of this site, as well as viewing the courses on the ACU course browser before attending the event. Viewing these resources will provide answers to many questions commonly asked in relation to our degrees. On some campuses we are unable to offer study area information sessions so suggest you view these online resources before attending.
